Maybe you’re a host looking to do some cross-promotion by guesting on a different podcast, or Maybe you’re an industry expert looking to share you’re expertise and knowledge on a specialized subject. Whatever the reason, if you’re looking for how to guest on a podcast there are many platforms, apps, and websites dedicated to connected shows and potential guests with one another.

Some of these options require a fee to use their services, while others are completely free. This article will provide a list of these services, and a few brief notes letting you know what to expect for possible fees and insights into the platform.

Reddit — free

Reddit is a completely free home to thousands of communities, if you have an interest in something a subreddit probably exists for it. Two of these subreddits focused on connecting podcasts and guests are listed below.

Matchmaker.fm — free with subscription plans

Matchmaker allows podcasts and potential guests to create public profiles and makes searching easy. They also have a companion app for messaging available on android and apple that is handy if you’re on-the-go.

This platforms feels more targeted towards experts in fields, so if that’s what you are looking for this is the place for you.

For finding guests, you fill out a form and submit to get featured in a future email.

Premium Listings — $29/month
Platinum Featured Expert — one time fee of $225
