Facebook Groups for Podcasters
Facebook groups are fantastic sources of support and promotion, and act as knowledge communities for you to reach out to with questions about any aspect of podcasting that you might have. I’ve found great guests and built relationships with fellow podcasters that have been very helpful in answering difficult questions about technical issues and providing personal and valuable feedback.
To no surprise, searching “podcast” in Facebook’s search bar results in hundreds of different groups, pages, and events both public and private to sort through depending on what you’re looking for. I’ve taken the time to sort through the results and list some of the most helpful groups for podcasters. You’ll find the name of each group links back to their landing page, whether they are public or private, how many members they have, and the bio.
The number of groups that fall under this category of all-purpose community groups is extensive so I’ve limited this section to the five largest.
